According to the Oakland Police Department, two people were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning.

The shooting happened before 1 a.m. There is a building in the 1300 block of 91st Avenue. Two people suffering from apparent gunshot wounds were found by officers and taken to a local hospital.

One of the victims is not expected to survive his injuries, and he is currently listed in grave condition. Police said that the El Sobrante resident sustained non life threatening injuries.

The shooting will be investigated by the homicide division of the department. Oakland police are not releasing the names of the victims at this time.
